My name is Christopher Jessop; I live in Marloes, a Pembrokeshire coastal village in the far west of Wales. Nearly everyone here leads a busy life; when I can, I draw and paint. I like to take the basic kit wherever I go, because one cannot predict sketching opportunities. Also, there’s no telling when other sorts of ideas will arise: I write, too, so pencil and paper must always be handy. I nearly always paint in oils, sometimes using acrylic to block in the basic composition because acrylics dry fast. Whenever possible, I work on location.
I have only recently activated this site, so please bear with me. I will be loading images and posting journal entries as time allows.
