My name is Christopher Jessop; I live on the Pembrokeshire coast in the far west of Wales. Life in Marloes village is busy; when I can, I draw and paint. I like to take the basic kit everywhere, because you can’t predict sketching opportunities. Also, there’s no telling when other sorts of ideas will arise: I also write. I usually paint in oils, sometimes using faster-drying acrylics to block in the basic composition. Whenever possible, I work on location.
I started this site in Spring 2025: I am loading images and posting journal entries as time allows.
